It’s very different flavors than what I am use to and I loved everything about this “new Yucatán cuisine” that Chef Solis is famous for. Much to my surprise, I even loved the Foie gras wrapped in chaya, chicken broth, brown butter and lime. This was my introduction to Yucatan food and I had the most wonderful food experience throughout the entire meal. I will definitely be back for Round 2! I’m pretty impressed by the recommendation that some of SMA’s chefs and restaurant owners gave me. Many told me that if I got to choose one restaurant in Merida this would be it!
