La Peniche is a restaurant located on the barge MV Riasc (La Peniche is French for barge) which is moored on the Grand Canal alongside Mespil Road between Baggot and Leeson Street bridges. We were there celebrate our daughter’s graduation- the staff could not have been more attentive. I was surprised to learn a few of them were recent hires. They had a great understanding of the wine list when we had questions. The food was amazing. We keep going back as the food is always of a high standard with a great and varied wine list plus very attentive and personable staff!

We had a wonderful tapas style dinner for 6. The food is excellent - classic dishes with a fresh and sensitive take. Drink selections were a wonderful pared down combination of amazing wines, understated cocktails, and delicious aperitifs.

Had a fantastic experience as always at House! The food was fresh and flavourful and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Can’t wait to be back already!!!

Fui con mi novio a celebrar mi cumpleaños, realmente me sorprendí de lo bien organizado que fue todo, las bebidas, la comida deliciosa. Solo que a los meseros se les olvidó mi petición de cumpleaños y se la dieron a otra persona. En general un paseo bellísimo.
