It began with a love for wine –– doesn’t it always? Frequenting wine shops throughout California and the world, we learned a thing or two (and consumed our fair share of glasses). We learned which wines could coax out our dancing shoes on the weekend and which ones were the perfect wind-down to a busy schedule. We learned about grape varietals, flavor profiles, and that back-of-the-nose taste that precedes the perfect sip. So, what’d we do with this love of wine? We decided to open up a quality wine shop right in our neighborhood. When you’re here, you’re part of our community of wine lovers, experts, and novices in pursuit of the perfect pour.     An absolute must if you’re in the area. From the moment the maitre’d / host greeted us, I knew it would be a great experience. It is nestled in candlelight, you step inside and walk past the bar which is a work of art, around a cozy fire lit patio and we dined in a beautiful cabana. We ere even more surprised that the service, food and amazing cocktails were even more magical than the ambience. A lot of passion was invested in every recommendation, dish and presentation. I 10/10 recommend.

    Greeting, I had never heard of LAVO until I saw it on Instagram. It was my first visit at LAVO LA. I was celebrating my birthday. It was absolutely phenomenal. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends. You guys are doing a great job! Connie - Tiara64 💕

    There was a beautiful table, generous cocktails, and a delicious dinner. But the topper is that I did not finish my dinner; it was beautifully packaged and placed in a black take-out bag for me. I forgot the bag when leaving the restaurant. I was walking down San Vicente, and I heard someone calling my name. It's Quentin, our waiter, bringing me my leftovers. Amazing, above-and-beyond-service. Baltaire is in my top five restaurants in LA. Quentin, thank you again.
