It's the original Dublin gastropub at over 100 years old.Anybody who is familiar with Dublin pub food will be aware of Davy Byrne’s food reputation, in which seafood is the speciality.If you visit the premises at lunchtime and evening time, you will witness the huge trade which is done in fresh Seafood, Wagyu Burgers and pub classics like Fish & Chips. There is also a full range of Salads and Sandwiches to compliment these and, as often as not, you can enjoy Oysters and Guinness.The classic Gorgonzola sandwich with a glass of Burgundy as mentioned in Ulysses is available every day.Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate strollers/buggies indoors at Davy Byrnes but subject to availability, we can at our outside terraced area.     We got the chateaubriand which was the nicest steak I’ve ever eaten in my life. Compared to Hawksmoor Fire and FXB this beats all of them. The service was quite good (very friendly waitress) I can’t wait to return and try the Sunday roast. Highly recommend this place

    Myself and my boyfriend came here for the first time and it was absolutely fabulous. We both had the steak and it was amazing. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating, will definitely be back.

    My parents were celebrating their 60th anniversary on Valentine's Day and the Hawksmoor Team made it memorable. The vibe, energy and experience for me is as important as the food and the team are central to this. They were incredibly attentive, thoughtful and helpful which added so much to the experience. And of course the food was 11/10 Keep doing what you're doing Team Hawksmoor - the Dublin restaurant scene is better for it! Gavin

    The server was great she was Asian with glasses very nice The food was delicious only issue was we asked for medium core de bouef but when it got to the table it was lukewarm, it was still fine to eat but maybe keep them under the light to keep it hot
