The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. The food is phenomenal, service is faultless, and the ambiance is great. Steak in particular was delicious, and chips were cooked to perfection. The desserts were so beautiful we felt bad eating them! Will definitely be back and also recommending to others.

Booked slevins for a family meal. Was giving the raised area, could watch the euros comfortably. Waiter very promptly came and took our order,and told us the days specials. We received our drinks followed swiftly by our main course. Afterwards we were told there was music out in the beer garden. So we went to investigate. And ended up staying for the evening. Music whatas fabulous. Service was great. Overall the evening was fantastic

Thank you so much for the lovely food and desserts 🍮 with our afternoon tea experience. We loved the tour around the castle- all absolutely amazing. We loved the atmosphere, Mădălina and Răzvan was very welcoming and made us feel special. Recommend it and would come back anytime. 10/10
