A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Saw the reviews for this on Open Table and booked a birthday lunch whilst visiting New York. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Fresh pasta, great Brucheta with delicious fresh tomato and pesto. The staff were excellent and even gave a birthday treat for my partner. Highly recommended.

Fantastic and quant little Sicilian joint in SoHo. Had my family of 6 there for lunch and everyone loved it. Place was adorable and the servers were super attentive and all over it. We didn’t wait for a drink, a dish removal or even a dropped fork. Food was super flavorful and fresh and of very high quality. Easy to see why this place is highly rated. Very highly recommended!!

Fabulous experience & Excellent service/ambience. From the moment we got seated, all staff and Sophia specifically made us feel very welcome and ensured we understood the vegetarian variations of the delicacies. Absolutely loved the truffle pizza and the tiramisu and had to order a second one before the night got over. Will definitely recommend and revisit ourselves.
