Heritage pub turned Greek Islands-inspired paradise, Golden Fleece Hotel has brought Santorini to South Melbourne. Entering off Montague Street, you’ll find curvaceous, stone-look tables, booths and an adjoining bottle shop where the walls are lined with vino you can take away! Make your way up the colourful mosaic-tiled stairwell you'll find a place to enjoy more cocktails after dining down stairs and nooks to sit back and relax, as well as a pool table and our DJ's on the weekend to keep the party forever going. Our Walk-ins only intimate Santorini Rooftop is where you’ll feel most transported, as the sun beams down, sip on a fun Aperol Spritz, or a Aphrodites Elixr of Desire to feel the holiday vibes. The menu is similarly Mediterranean. Among the highlights: Our famous fluffy oven baked bread accompanied by a selection of dips, and a delicious Yia-Yia's style Moussaka.     I cannot recommend Shelanous Restaurant enough! I pre-booked two months in advance for my husband's birthday, and it was worth every bit of the wait. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The food was absolutely divine—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My husband was thrilled with the experience, and it truly made his birthday unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal, Shelanous is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team for making our night so memorable! We’ll definitely be back!

    Just had a birthday anniversary lunch there and it exceeded our expectations brilliant staff lovely menu overlooking the water with a great wine and cocktail selection- a nice little surprise to finish our weekend and will definitely be back

    Went here for a galentines dinner with my friend and we were both blown away with how yummy the food was! Absolutely obsessed with the king fish sashimi and crispy duck wontons. We got the feed me menu which was very reasonably priced and the mains were a good size. Cocktails were superb. Overall such a great experience, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food came out quickly and my taste buds will never be the same. Highly recommend.
