Philhellene is one of the four Greek restaurants in Melbourne to be included in the 2011 Age Good Food Guide, our primary objective at Philhellene is to present an authentic concept of food and drink while using high quality produce and applying traditional methods derived from our own mothers' cooking, creating a truly memorable and even emotional experience.The team at Philhellene consists of John & Susie Rerakis, several time 'best greek restaurant' winners by The Age Good Food Guide, also featured in Vogue Entertaining and other prominent media. Along with them their entourage of mothers who are working in the kitchen, spreading love & tales of their country in the dishes that they serve you.Our primary objective is to present an authentic concept of food and drink while using high quality produce and applying traditional methods derived from our own mothers’ cooking, creating a wonderful experience.

    We had the degustation menu. The food was excellent, the staff were just the right amount of attentive and very pleasant, wine a little pricey. We left full. We will definitely be back.

    Modern twist on Vietnamese food. Plenty of options, highly recommend the potato prawns for entree. BYO wine. Friendly and attentive wait staff. I can see Local Chook becoming my regular local go to.

    Amazing! This is one of the amazing Italian restaurants in Melbourne , offering a great selection of delicious Italian food. We had a fantastic dining experience here, it has elegant and beautiful ambiance adding to the luxurious fine dining experience. The service was excellent, and both the pizza and pasta we tried were delicious.

    I’ve been there twice now and it’s been awesome wonderful service lots of food and the food is so yummy.  you won’t be disappointed if you go and eat at this place.  it’s my favourite restaurant so far.
