Hochi Mama was the God Mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early nineties. An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family. Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet. We offer QR menus at each table for ease of ordering, splitting bills and menu with pictures and descriptions. This type of ordering is optional so always let us know if you prefer to order with us. Finding harmony between authenticity and originality is something that first ignited the flame at Mesa Verde back in 2013 and continues to feed it today. While it’s fairly evident that an affinity for Mexican food and agave spirits is at the helm of what we do, our city’s rank on the culinary frontier has brought with it a particular nose for experimentation. So, since we’re very literally in the heart of Melbourne up here on the sixth floor of Curtin House, high above the city’s jugular Swanston Street, we feel it’s our responsibility to highlight what Mexican dining (and drinking) looks like in the eyes of the modern Melburnian. $10 Margaritas 4pm - 6pm daily.

    Went here for a galentines dinner with my friend and we were both blown away with how yummy the food was! Absolutely obsessed with the king fish sashimi and crispy duck wontons. We got the feed me menu which was very reasonably priced and the mains were a good size. Cocktails were superb. Overall such a great experience, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food came out quickly and my taste buds will never be the same. Highly recommend.

    Fabulous food in a nice spot with Italian vibes. We had the fettuccine and gnocchi and both were obviously freshly made and delicious. It’s a busy spot with lovely ambience. There is a 10% weekend surcharge, which we were surprised by coming from out of Melbourne. Would recommend.

    Overall excellent experience… got one of the set menus and a course was missed and brought out after we got deserts and about to leave. Was still happy with everything and given it was Valentine’s Day little things like this can happen
