Cocktails courtesy of Jeffrey Morgenthaler & "Banjo" Amberg.Our menu changes monthly and highlights dishes Don grew up with as well as those he mastered though working at Michelin-starred restaurants across the country.From Don: You may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, & popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because she makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. Walk in's are welcome! Group larger than 8 people can contact us directly for unlimited custom packages. Food and Beverage Minimum spend $45 for a la carte for larger groups. We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 12pm to 9:30pm. We are a small family owned Italian restaurant, which takes pride in serving delectable meals to our guests. Our outdoor patio is covered. Due to limited seating we cannot guarantee your reservation will be assigned indoors, and hold your table for more than 10 min past your reservation time. $20 no show fee per person will be charged.We are a scratch kitchen, all our (vegan) pastas, breads, desserts, sauces, salad dressings are homemade. Bring a date, friend or colleague and enjoy our elegant ambiance and full array of wines. We have a full bar and while you are here, try one of our yummy cocktails. Portland's Oven and Shaker is a popular dining destination for locals and visitors who crave artisan pizzas and unique bar drinks served in a warm and inviting setting. The nettle pesto arancino rice ball made with parmesan risotto and mushrooms and the fried calamari and octopus fritto misto with lemon and honey make stunning starters.     It had been awhile since our last visit, but the meals were superb and service staff stellar. A great way to celebrate V-day with the one I love. Must say, though the prices were slightly elevated, the portions were very satisfying. We were glad that 20-years later, it still has maintained its high quality dining.

    We had an absolutely amazing first time at Don’s for Valentine's day. Everything was so delicious and prepared so well. The fresh truffle on the pasta was insane! Everyone was so nice! We already cannot wait to make it back and enjoy another dinner here again!

    Excellent food, service, and ambiance. The owner even dropped by our table to check in, and tell us about their new bar space next doo, the RedRoom, we popped in after dinner to check it out-great space but had limited time and could't stay Will come again!

    We had a really memorable dinner with our 12 year old daughter who loved the pizza. The menu variety offered something for everyone. The preparation of the gnocchi (2 large rather than the smaller finger-sized) was a neat and delicious twist and the skirt steak was cooked perfectly. Our server had spot-on wine recommendations that paired nicely with our meals. Excited for a return visit.
