If there is a chance of rain we will have to cancel.Shiro has been named the Zagat Guide's number one restaurant and is consistently one of the highest rated establishments in the guide (#5 in 2011; #2 for service in 2013). Shiro is summed up by it's ingredients. Menu items are driven by the best available, nothing less is acceptable. For over 35 years, diners have enjoyed our French and Pacific Rim inspired menu. A tradition of fine dining with excellent, friendly service. We may supplement our menu with a special Taste of Shiro (soup or salad, meat or fish, dessert). Wed/Th. The evening's menu is posted around 3pm.As much as we love them, we must ask that your dogs and other pets stay home. Service dogs, of course, are welcome.

Gracious service is a lost art. Paired with food of impeccable quality and creativity, in a gorgeous setting - a rare treat. We had the omakase sushi as a late lunch and found the selections varied and plentiful and delicious. I will definitely return!

Hostess was super attentive!! Food was top notch. Generous portions, everything tasted above expectations. (Very romantic ambience btw...). I can't wait to return and try other dishes!! Nice pick in Whittier that won't disappoint.

Ah, Manual LA, the hidden gem nestled in the vibrant art district where parking is a bit challenging ! Who doesn't love a limited-time weekend affair where reservations are as essential as your morning coffee? Trust me, you'll want to secure your spot in advance to avoid the dreaded waitlist of doom. As for the menu, prepare to be swept off your feet by the ocean trout tartare – it's a love letter to seafood that even Poseidon would approve of. The burrata is a creamy delight with delight cucumber that will make you question why you've ever eaten anything else. And then, there's the French toast, a carbohydrate devil that could easily moonlight as dessert. If you're someone who finds carbohydrates utterly captivating (and let's be honest, who isn't?), Manual LA is your carb-laden paradise.
