The Florentine Café is an Italian lunch and dinner café, with a full bar, draft beers, and a great wine selection. Quattro Ristorante, Grille & Pizzeria, is restaurateur Frank DePasquale’s forth restaurant in the North End, hence the name which means 4 in Italian. Quattro is also located on the 4 major corners of the North End, Boston’s Famous Italian Neighborhood. Inspired by Italy’s passion for high quality foods prepared with fresh ingredients, Quattro brings delicious foods from simple locally grown ingredients. Frank DePasquale does something few restaurateurs have every tried, melding a full service restaurant that serves wine, beer and cordials with a kitchen equipped with a rotisserie, a char broiler and an authentic Neapolitan brick style pizza oven.     This is my 4th time to Mare and it never disappoints. I have been there for my anniversary, night out with my wife, and business and it is a perfect location for any occasion. There are so many restaurants in the NEnd and it can be hard to standout but Mare is unique from all the other N.End Italian restaurants. Seafood centric but not just, it has something for everyone. It isn't your checkered cloth, red sauce, restaurant so if that's what you want you will find a couple dozen other spots that would fit the bill down the street. But if you are looking for some of the best seafood fused with Italian cuisine, great drinks, a broad wine list across multiple price points, cool vibes, and intimate dining experience with terrific staff then this is your place. I highly recommend

    Food was tasty and location and ambience were great! Parking is a bit challenging. Service was very attentive. Pastas were good and authentic. Broccoli was stringy and overcooked so wouldn’t recommend that as a side. Prices were high for food quality and portion sizes.
