Enjoy some traditional barbecue like Hereford beef from Uruguay cooked on a lava stone grill at the Wellingten restaurant. Grilled saddle of lamb and chicken breast are also available. Wellingten offers several other items like original Swiss Cordon Bleu, Spanferkelcarree and Berlin veal liver. For vegetarians, there is a vegetable curry or spaghetti scampi. The atmosphere at Wellingten is accommodating for both private and business dinners. The restaurant is also prepared to host larger events for private or corporate occasions with room for up to 200 people in the facility and a suggested buffet menu.

The Michelin Guide, Gault Millau and Gusto have already recognised the consistently sustainable concept. It has also received awards from the Schweisfurth Foundation for Animal Welfare and the Bioland Association.Head chef and owner Sebastian Junge completed his cookery apprenticeship at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten and gained experience at organic farms, with bakers, butchers and farmers - which is visibly reflected in every detail of his dishes.
