Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available. The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Located on the charming town’s busy High Street, the newly-renovated Piccolino restaurant, guests will dine in the most divine setting. Boasting glamorous wood panelling, diamond cut mirrors, a spacious marble-topped bar area, and greenery throughout the main restaurant guests can relax watching the chefs in action in the open kitchen. With an exclusive menu taking guests on a journey of taste using the finest ingredients across Italy, guests can experience fish expertly filleted tableside, Fassona beef sourced from Piedmont in North West Italy and authentic Italian pasta dishes like the Carbonara Grande, prepared at the table from a giant pecorino cheese wheel. What a lovely restaurant in the centre of Old Beaconsfield. Extremely welcoming and attentive staff, high quality two course lunch for £40 each with some lovely surprise additions before and throughout the meal. Having exquisite company was also delightful 😁

Very attractive riverside setting. Welcoming staff looked after us well. Good range of dishes on a la carte menu. Friendly and helpful advice from Hulya. Service paced well. Pleasant ambience. Some regular returning diners. A good experience.
