There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more. Lovely South African wines, creative cocktails, extensive range of gins and even Don Pedros the South African 'milkshake cocktail'.

Amazing food at The White Oak, a nicely refurnished pub, only lacking a roaring fire on a freezing cold night. The main fish fish was sublime and the chocolate mousse was perfectly balanced and flavoured. Really friendly and attentive service topped it off; we’ll definitely be back!

Food was wonderful, service was friendly and welcoming even though they were all run off their feet with a table of 30!! It was a special occasion for us which was discreetly acknowledge by the team and it meant an awful lot to us. We will return without a doubt, it is a special place for us and the team helped to make this so. Thank you.

From the moment the door opened we felt very welcome and well looked after. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Pizza was delicious and the Mango sorbet was a highlight for the younger members in our group. We will be back next time we are in Maidenhead.
