Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea.     We were sharing a special celebration with our nephew and girlfriend. The view from our table on the terrace overlooking the bay was spectacular. Our starters of oysters, squid, stuffed prawns and Moreton Bay bugs were delicious as was the grilled John Dory, grilled Barramundi and Snapper and chips. The service was excellent and the wine prices were correct

    Visited on Valentine’s Day , the ambiance was unreal and had lovely touch with the fresh roses for the guests. The food was absolutely gorgeous, most definitely a special occasion place really makes the night special. Staff are lovely and attentive. Will definitely come back !

    The entire experience at Bathers is absolutely amazing. My partner and I came in peak Valentines Day lunchtime foot traffic and everything was just amazing. As a chef and currently a musician I understand how busy this time of year can be but these guys managed to make you feel special on this insanely busy day! Great work from top to bottom!

    For authentic Mexican food there is no better than Tommy’s at Manly. The service, ambience of the venue, drink selection and quality and of course the food was just remarkable. Compliments to Ricardo the head chef and his wonderful staff for the best night out we have ever had. My dad recommended this restaurant and I am so glad we came.
