Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Hidden down a cute laneway in an old motor garage is one of the very best Italian restaurants in the city ... actually, one of the best places to eat! Their Gnocco (atteptiser) is a fluffy savoury starter that never fails to get my guests to say "oh ... wow". Great sharing food (or don't share) and excellent wines (mostly Italian). Pastas are unique, the mains amazing. I visit regularly. Not cheap but certainly not over the top.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience at La Madonna! The crispy duck was the star of the evening – perfectly cooked and an easy 10/10. We tried four dishes in total, and every single one was delicious and well-presented. The food is definitely worth the value, and you can tell great care goes into each dish. The service is amazing also! Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality and flavor!
