We’re a small town bistro tucked into the hills of Maleny. Espresso & brunch by morning, Bistro food, wine and cocktails from lunch till evening. Our cosy 36 seat interior can host 1 or 2 to 20 or more. Street seating is also available but weather dependent so call us to arrange.Exec Chef Kelly Robson and her team’s fun takes on Euro classics are all about flavour and designed to be shared. We’re passionate about healthy and ethically sourced produce and products, using great local produce from our region when possible; and greens from our own gardens.The wine list consists of handpicked Australian/Euro naturals and mainstream beauties. Glass selections change weekly to suit our menu and season. The cocktail list includes sub-tropical takes on classics with a sprinkle of local native ingredients.Our little bistro is an extension of our home ~ a warm, inviting space that’s as satisfying to work in as it is to visit. Mountain View Café is situated on the edge of a subtropical rainforest on a ridge overlooking the Glass House Mountains in Maleny. The venue provides one of the Sunshine Coast’s most spectacular views and is housed within the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, a living remnant of the animal and plant life that once covered the Blackall Ranges.

    Very enjoyable meal at Mountain View Restaurant, with wonderful views of Glasshouse Mountains. We booked ahead to ensure we had a good seat outside with an Umbrella .

    Great range of beers and wines. Authentic german/bavarian/austrian cuisine. Restaurant ambiance feels authentically european. Great setting overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains, (try to book veranda seating when booking to enjoy views during daylight hours). Wonderful host and quality meals.

    My best friend was visiting from Melbourne for the weekend and I wanted to take her somewhere special. We found Spill Wine in Maleny and were spoilt. The food is amazing and the wine options are endless. The staff have extensive knowledge and are able to make recommendations based on what you let them know dislikes / likes etc. The atmosphere is stunning, you won’t want to leave and the music playlist was a vibe! I highly recommend Spill Wine.

    Great atmosphere, excellent food on the set menu for Valentine’s Day too, both of us we soo grateful to not have to choose from a huge menu, staff were really friendly too. Highly recommend a glass of the whistlers Shiraz, with the short beef ribs. Incredible!
