Our Croydon Taphouse is open to the public five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday. We've eaten at Cognoscenti several times and the food is always delicious. The menu changes regularly, so we have different dishes. This time we particularly liked the asparagus starter.

Loved the gorgeous stately room we were sat in! It’s my favourite cozy space. The Duck Papardelle today was absolutely outstanding! The sauce had the most delectable flavours of earthy mushrooms and truffle. Wow! It was amazing!! Paired with the loveliest cocktail too. Beautiful service. So many smiles and happy people. So lovely to see! Thanks Killik! You’ve outdone yourselves again!

Good value, friendly staff, delicious food. Prompt service. Order the pork ribs early. Menu highlight was the brisket and the chocolate tart.
