Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history. Shauna (spelling?) was a fantastic server. She walked us through the entire menu and made sure all of our items came out staggered. The bartender was a bit slow but this comes with the newness of the restaurant still. The mocktail was great as well as their herbal hot tea selection. My absolute fave part of the meal was the dumplings/pierogis with apple butter. But everything we got was incredible. Including the salmon Wellington. WOW.

Annie gave me an idea with a Pop's Honey product that she says will eliminate my drop-dead awful Spring allergies. Our food was excellent, as always. My right eye was all blood shot, and I looked like Joe was beating me. Joe has ordered the Pop's Honey product.
