Located just a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville and the Marais district, Le Coupe Gorge restaurant, with its antique parquet flooring, dressed stonework and red velvet banquettes, exudes the flavour of old Paris and the pleasures of fine dining. The restaurant was founded in 1895 on rue de la Coutellerie, a street that owes its name to the many active cutlers. Its current name is more recent, no doubt due to the offbeat humour of one of its previous owners! Far from being a trap, Le Coupe Gorge offers a warm atmosphere, typical of old Parisian establishments, and a friendly welcome.

After meeting in the Tunisian village of Sousse, where their grandmothers were neighbours, Alexis and Alexandre decided to unite their roots around a restaurant: Mabrouk - the new Tunisian temple in the Haut Marais, with its thousand-year-old traditions from the East and its reinvention of typical and emblematic dishes. With its large sunny terrace and beautiful turquoise blue shop window, it's impossible to miss. This place will take you on a journey to the other side of the Mediterranean, with its no-fuss decor, large mirrors, oriental carpets hanging on the walls, antique terracotta ceramics, and a mix of Parisian and Tunisian codes. Nestled in the heart of the Latin Quarter, the Reminet has been a chic institution in the 5th arrondissement for almost thirty years. Sheltered in a listed building, with a view of Notre-Dame and the Île Saint-Louis, the tone is set: a glass wine cellar covering an entire wall, old-fashioned decoration of zinc and gilding, marquetry and red velvet, antique chandeliers and numerous paintings or mirrors hanging on the walls, the Reminet is a comfortable and cozy little gem.In the end, a warm and friendly restaurant with 45 seats where tasty lunches and candlelit dinners in the cellar will be moments of sharing and unique flavors. The vaulted cellar can also accommodate seminars or celebrations.
