Lunch at "The Chef and I" is packed full of flavor. Located in our "Backstage" area downstairs in a casual atmosphere, sit where you can see what's happening in our kitchen. Enjoy popular items like the smash burger melt, hot fish sandwich and roma crunch salad or indulge in the chef's favorites of marinated salmon and green chile chicken melt. The Chef and I is built on a love story between two people that began 15 years ago in Nashville, Tennessee. We serve innovative cuisine in a fun environment. You can choose to order off the menu or do a chef's tasting any day of the week. A private chef’s table, an interactive show kitchen in addition to regular dining is what you’ll find at The Chef & I Nashville! Adele’s restaurant in Nashville is a partnership among Ken Levitan and Howard Greenstone of Red Pebbles Hospitality. The restaurant features an open kitchen with a large fireplace grill, wood-burning oven, white quarter-sawn oak bar, chef’s counter, and heated outdoor dining patio with umbrellas. The menu at Adele’s focuses on seasonal, accessible comfort food sourced from local farms and purveyors. The restaurant is open for dinner nightly and offers a wonderful weekend brunch from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Adele’s provides free parking in the first 2 rows of angled parking spots located directly in front of our building (validation required). If our parking lot is full, we offer validated parking in the parking lot across the street (1207 McGavock St.) or the parking garage behind Adele's (1222 Demonbreun St.). Best dinner we have ever had. The food was unreal. My only complaint is that if you are hungry this food won’t fill you up as it is just tasting.

The 7 course tasting menu was excellent. Since it was a Monday night I got to sit at one of six seats overlooking the line. The chef plated, presented and described each course. It was a true delight.

Our waiter was very nice, attentive and informative. I took my father here for his 70th birthday. All he wanted was a good steak. He asked for it medium. Sadly he got his filet mignon and it was rare. The staff agreed and took it back, recooked it, but maybe didn’t check the temp? It was still rare with a slight improvement. They gave us the meat free of charge but I’m just more disappointed that he wasn’t able to get his steak how he wanted it for his birthday. However, my finances filet mignon was perfectly medium. Our appetizer, my Caesar salad and bolognese pasta was amazing!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here today. We had the seafood all you can eat brunch. It was an ex extraordinary meal. Everything was fresh and delicious and we had more than we could eat. Was wonderful ambience and they even gave my wife some birthday chocolates. Five stars all around. I really appreciate the free valet as well.
