The Grain House Restaurant is located on the picturesque 10-acre estate of the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. Today, the Grain House is a renowned restaurant in North/Central New Jersey, with a comfortable, casual ambiance. The restaurant serves innovative, traditional and contemporary interpretations of American cuisine with some added international accents, prepared under the direction of Executive Chef John Benjamin. Delicious homemade desserts complete the menus, which are revised several times a year. Food and service were excellent only the dessert was a little disappointing , dry cheesecake. The noise level was a little high but still could have a conversation. We will definitely be back and will recommend.

The pizza is excellent the main reason we go. We have ordered some of the dinner specials and really enjoyed them as well. The tables are too small and it takes maneuvering glasses dishes and utensils and condiments to eat however it’s still cramped. They are always busy so be prepared to be rushed so they can turn over a table. We were still sitting at our table when they set up a second table onto our table and started moving our coat and purse off our chair to work around us. 4th time eating there and 3 out of 4 times I felt rushed but the food is very good pizza is great and everyone is friendly.

Great, flavorful food with so many options. Authentic Korean BBQ - the beef bulgogi is excellent. Loved the Mandu (beef short rib dumplings) as an appetizer and the Bibimbap, too. Terrific service.
