We are Kaizen. It all started when longtime friends from Flushing, Queens, came together with an idea that would soon be introduced to their hometown city. We were celebrating a birthday. Asked for something special but the only extra provided was a menu that said happy birthday. The restaurant manager went around to many tables but only passed by us and never checked in. The appetizers were great but the entre, a porterhouse for two, was not that good. The steak had a bacon taste, something I have never experienced with a porterhouse steak at any steakhouse. The service was a bit slow and I only had my waitress attending to us although she mentioned having a partner that never materialized. I have been to Morton’s various times and have never had a great experience.

Everything was amazing especially the food. The appetizer wasn’t too good but the main course delicious, i got the salmon and asparagus and my Bf got the chicken and mashed potatoes which was soo good the chicken was tender

First time there and was not disappointed! Staff was friendly and attentive! The food was outstanding in both preparation and in service. While the bar area was noisy (crowded, always a good sign), we didn’t experience noise issues as the dining room is separated by a full wall which blocked out nearly all of the sound. Highly recommended if you love Cajun food!
