Il Colosseo is an Italian restaurant that is a local favorite. The dining room here is small and intimate, which adds to the homey atmosphere the eatery provides. At the back of the dining room, Il Colosseo has an open kitchen where guests can watch as the talented kitchen staff prepares the food. The kitchen is dominated by a giant brick oven where the staff cooks up all of its incredible pizzas.Il Colosseo begins its menu with antipasti like fried calamari for two, baked clams, sautéed octopus, sautéed broccoli rabe and a pasta e fagioli soup with white kidney beans and fusilli noodles in a light tomato broth.     Food was delicious. Flavors great and the variety was wonderful. Nice to eat quality delicious food that is not the same as on every other menu. We are sorry to see it close - Vinum will be missed.

    Wonderful food, service and ambience as always. I only gave a four-star overall rating because of the noise level. Not a place for deep conversations. But, having said thst, we will definitely go back

    I've been to this location about 3 times this past year. Have always been sat in the small enclosed area just before the bathroom on the left. There are only 2 tables there. I have avoided saying this but will mention it now. The bench against the wall needs to be fixed. The cushion sucks and makes you feel like you are sitting at the kids' table during Thanksgiving. The purple-ish light against the back that's reads "Margaritas" madness your gel drunk when you look at it and is totally annoying, especially when the rest of the restaurant becomes a little darker. We asked to move to the other table in that "corral" due to that light in our faces. In addition, when we did move to the other table, the table top spun every time you leaned on it. We had to keep spinning it back into place to keep our food in front of us. Please, do better. Thanks.
