This is a restaurant for that very Special occasion....Why only Special? Because it is a Special place to enjoy fine dining at its best. Exquisite tasting plates of food, locally sourced alcohol, beautiful ambience, welcoming and attentive staff. It is on the higher price side but every mouthful is worth every penny. Lunch for 2. Excellent location, comfortable and welcoming environment, tables nicely spaced, well thought-out menu and specials, good cooking, portions and presentation on the plate, decent wine list at sensible prices, charming staff, not rushed although we lingered until gone 5pm, overall a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. Value for money and highly recommended.

Excellent birthday treat for my husband. Gorgeous place to have afternoon tea. Food was perfect 👌

Lovely starters and pudding but main course disappointing. I had roast beef but the Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and beef difficult to cut. I also prefer to add my own gravy as it smothered the plate. We hoped to add Salomon's to our shortlist for wedding venues but the food unfortunately did not have that extra special quality. However the staff were very good and helpful in letting us look at the wedding areas.
