The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. The Ox Barn is a 56-seater destination restaurant under the direction of Head Chef, Charlie Hibbert. A wonderful evening. A warm greeting awaited us at this delightful country pub. The fire was lit and the place was buzzing. A lovely selection of food including some unusual specials. Our food arrived and it was all delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. All in all a lovely evening

We had a great time enjoying afternoon tea at Minster Mill. The setting is very pleasant, with the old roof beams and good decoration. It is quite quiet and restful too. The afternoon tea menu has a bit more variety than the usual, so that makes it worth trying as well. The staff were also kind and frequently refilled our tea (with either hot water or even new leaves). All in all, definitely a place to try for afternoon tea.

Great location particularly on an Autumn Sunday when the colours of the countryside looked wonderful. Well cooked roast lunch with good flavours. All served in a very friendly and professional way. Thoroughly recommend and will return when next in the area.
