Accessed from the High Street and through a glass lobby, Quod restaurant with its terrace and bar, forms the hub of the Old Bank Hotel. Formerly a banking hall it was transformed by owner Jeremy Mogford to become Oxford's largest and most successful restaurant. Stylish, contemporary design describes the space which houses an amazing collection of young British art. Sandra Blow, Craigie Aitchinson and Gary Hume adorn the walls. There is a spectacular terrace where diners can enjoy a morning coffee, the superb value two course lunch or a cocktail.

Located on the roof of the Westgate Shopping Centre, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. The Fishes is a hidden gem. Quite a big gem, too. An imposing Victorian building set in acres of wooded grounds leading down to the banks of Seacourt Stream. The deck that wraps around the conservatory offers a rare opportunity in land-locked Oxford to dine outside with an idyllic view. In recognition of this, the Fishes was named Al Fresco Dining Pub of the Year in 2006, as well winner of The Public Vote in Oxfordshire Restaurant awards 2012 making it one of the best restaurants in Oxford.

    My boyfriend and I visited the Ivy in Oxford for his birthday. We had the most incredible evening with amazing food and drink. Our experience was made even better by our server Jhavaughn who was incredible throughout the night. He was super friendly and helpful and we will definitely be coming back!!

    We visit Quod regularly and after today's meal I question why we hadn't been for a while. First course good although needed to borrow someone else's teeth to crack the croutons. Calves liver superb, could have been a little more pink but so difficult to do in a large restaurant with thin slices, mash, kale and bacon and tasty sauce set the whole meal off. Our waitress who we now know well was as good as ever and at £34.60 a head great value. See you again soon!

    Our third time here, once again not disappointed. Luckily for us we had made a reservation, there was a queue of people waiting. Our food order was taken quickly, the only minor thing was that our drinks were served in a warm glass so the drinks were not as cold as we would have like. All our food was delicious. will certainly be booking again.
