Wonderful experience on the chefs counter. Every dish was beautiful and tasty. The vegetarian options were great. Particularly loved the butternut squash. Service was impeccable. Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely experience.

We had quiche Lorraine, chips and salad. The chips were very good. We’ve always previously enjoyed the main meals but the quiche was not very special. The Apple, Pear and Berry crumble was disappointing. It was scorching hot and looked and tasted like boiling strawberry jam - not like fruit. It had a tiny amount of strange crumble mix poured over it and there was not enough custard. Very disappointing for £7 each.

Lovely selection of cakes and savoury snacks. The brownie and latte were amazing. The staff were very accommodating as we had two pushchairs. The brought food over and opened doors for us. A lovely first time visit for a nervous new mum. Thank you :)

All the staff are professional, friendly, helpful and service with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. On arrival you are immediately asked if you or your party have allergies. Drinks order taken promptly and left with an extensive menu to make your selection plus a specials board, if you are not ready they give you more time. Knowledgeable about all the dishes but also happy to check with the chef. Food is always hot and tasty, asked if any sauces are required. Check to see if everything is ok once you have had time to enjoy some of the food. Dessert menu offered but no hard sell. You are not rushed so free to relax and enjoy the occasion. Have been going for many years, I am in a large powerchair and they always seat me at an appropriate table enabling me to be comfortable but also room enough for other customers and servers to get passed safely. Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

The roast was very tasty, particularly the sirloin beef. Sadly the service was a bit slow as they were so understaffed so we had to ask for drinks again. Recommend though!
