Humo [oo-moh], is a modern firehouse situated in the heart of Watford, serving Spanish inspired meat, seafood, fish, and seasonal vegetables cooked in a charcoal and wood oven. Great food, excellent service and reasonably priced. Music was a bit loud and slightly encroached on the conversation but otherwise was a great meal. Definitely would go again.

Food was great, but the staff made the experience 1000% better. I interacted with multiple waiters and all of them were so kind and attentive. I went there for my birthday alone and they were so amazing. I had a birthday card waiting for me when I got there, got a complimentary drink and they put a candle on my dessert. I didn't feel lonely at my dinner and I was also sitting at the counter so it was interesting looking into the kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't been before.

We had an amazing meal on Saturday night in the restaurant area and enjoyed a drink at the bar after. All three courses were delicious, well presented and fresh. The service was flawless - we were met with smiles from every member of staff we encountered. The vibe of the Princess Royal was the exact thing we were after for a festive celebration. Would 100% come back again and recommend to friends! Thank you ☺️

The wife and I went for a mid-week date night and had a lovely time at Humo. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the decor and overall aesthetic was very cool and most importantly the food was delicious. It’s a great asset to Watford high street.
