Absolutely incredible food - we both had pasta and both dishes were simple, yet tasted so amazing and authentic. I had the spaghetti aglio olio con funghi and my partner (who usually has pizza instead of pasta) had the orecchiette boscaiola - he is now converted to pasta after his gorgeous meal! Waiters were so polite, efficient and pleasant, and the price is so affordable. Would definitely recommend going to an authentic restaurant like here over a chain for value for money, quality of food and overall experience :)

Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service and attention to detail was so impressive. The food was beautiful and I don't think I've ever seen my husband enjoy a steak as much as he did at the Ivy Cardiff. The only flaw I'd mention, if considered a flaw, more a personal opinion really, was the music level was a tad too high so we couldn't fully enjoy the romantic sounds of the harpist. Otherwise everything was exactly what I'd expect and was a real treat for us. Finally the little birthday dessert treat was a lovely surprise. Thank you so much to all the staff.

I want to first start off with saying how amazing the staff was. It was my birthday and had a beautiful card waiting for me on the table. So thoughtful. The drinks 10/10 . The food 10/10 . I loved the vibe of the place. Perfect for dinner, great date night! The bar is stunning so you can just go in for a drink. I will definitely be going back. Worth every penny. Can’t wait for my next visit.

I love Italian food although, I rarely go out for it. This place however changed that thought. Firstly the service was impeccable the blonde waitress was very patient , polite and attentive and helped me decide on a pasta dish. I also had a brusheta with goats cheese. The goats cheese was the best I've ever tried and the pasta dish was huge and very tasty. Me and my friend also shared some tasty chips. The bill was fair and included a 10 percent service charge which, I was happy to pay due to the amazing service. I was recommended this place for a long time and will be back very soon.
