Chaplin's Executive Chef and Partner, Myo Htun, is originally from Burma, but was cooking ramen in Japan at a young age. Myo received a blessing from his mentor in Japan after nearly 30 years of cooking in Japan, to come to America and continue to showcase his authentic Ramen and traditional Japanese cuisine. There is no lunch menu. It is brunch (breakfasty items you can elevate to lunch). Food d was taaty but menu small. Waitstaff do not check inon you soon enough (3rd time there, same experience: waitstaff are alao bartender ao they are mixing drinks while you wait for them to show up to aak for ketchup!) Good location, good food, will go again because it is convenient to UMD. Hope they retrain staff to visit table often.
