The Grain House Restaurant is located on the picturesque 10-acre estate of the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. Today, the Grain House is a renowned restaurant in North/Central New Jersey, with a comfortable, casual ambiance. I celebrated my lady's birthday. Everyone was nice. The servers. The cook. Helping me celebrate a beautiful birthday with a special request of cheesecake and her birthday age written nicely on the plate. The food was excellent. B.Y.O.B. was an amazing experience. Very elegant. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything!

The food was good. We had a party of 4. In all we had 5 meals. We wanted to have the homemade gnocchi to share as an appetizer, but they ended up not having it. We ended up sharing the lobster ravioli, which was good. For our entrees we had the seafood risotto, which was excellent, the cod special (which was good but very small piece of fish), chicken dish and the yellowfin tuna special (was just ok). Overall, we had a nice time and will go back if in the area
