Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar.     Our food was outstanding. Flatbreads were great. We the seafood. Wish the shrimp would have been wild Georgia shrimp. Our server, Andrea, was great. My only complaint was the cocktail. It was an old fashion holiday. It was very overpriced for the amount served. I would recommend staying away from cocktails and stick with the wine. The wine list is very good. We went on a Monday night and the restaurant was not crowded. Thursday-Saturday are the busiest nights. If you go then, go early. We always have great conversations with the owner, Mr. C. I highly recommend Sugo.

    The meat was excellent, and the salad bar/buffet was okay. Some of the salad and a couple other items looked older, like it had been there a while, but the service was good and the food we did eat from the buffet was very yummy. There was no shortage of meat! From the buffet I really enjoyed the potato salad, asparagus, chimichurri, and rice!
