Paya is an exuberant, island-inspired restaurant and bar located on Miami’s South Beach founded by Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar and Chef Niven Patel, the duo behind FEAL Hospitality. It is a platform for Chef Niven Patel to pay homage to the insular cuisines of the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Spain’s islands, where he and Mo have either worked or visited extensively. We had breakfast and dinner there. The breakfast was delicious. The cream for the coffee seemed bad. It was hot out even in the AM. The dinner was delicious too with huge portions just like the breakfast. Really nice outdoor seating and inside was cute too. Right on A1A so it was walking distance to everything. Our server was very pleasant.

We had a great meal. We had just arrived that evening and it was the perfect place to have dinner. Food was delish. The sports games were on tv and our kids played battleship from the stack of games they have. Was a lot of fun.
