True Chesapeake is a Baltimore restaurant born of an oyster farm. Executive Chef Zack Mills creates a seasonal menu that showcases oysters from our farm in St. Jerome’s Creek, Southern Maryland — raw, roasted, and in signature dishes like Classic Rockefeller and French Onion Oysters. But, the oysters are just the beginning. Our award winning menu celebrates the bounty of the Chesapeake region by using locally sourced seafood, meat, and produce to create exquisite dishes that evolve with the seasons. Chef Mills has been featured extensively for his use of invasive seafood species, a very delicious way to help the Chesapeake Bay.     Incredible food and drinks only outdone by the stellar service. Everything is done with intention, from the olives to start down to the tea selection for dessert. Our favorite meal in Baltimore so far and we will be coming back! Could not recommend more.

    Our waitress Tiffany was the best. I really enjoyed the food as well, my only complaint is that they should offer more sides at the market table. The ambiance and service was out of this world.

    La Barrita was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The owner Sebastian made us feel like old friends, and our waiter Tony was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our meal special. We were lucky to visit on a slower Monday, which made for an even more intimate and personalized dining experience. We originally went for an anniversary dinner, but we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
