Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border. Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, perfect for catching up with a dear friend. The restaurant is light, bright, and cheery. The tea sandwiches and cakes were delicious and just right for nibbling and conversing. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, but not intrusive, and we did not feel rushed. The noise level was low enough to hear each other easily. Parking is along the street or with the valet.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been in Houston. The short rib was amazing, their carrots, and drinks are all a hit! Service was amazing, it’s very intimate and warm. Love it

Outstanding food and service with attention to details. Loved the flounder fin, the oysters and salmon belly. We also enjoyed the wine pairings and meeting one of the Partners. Will return for sure!!
