Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele. Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily.     Our first visit to Ulele. We were celebrating our anniversary. Service was attentive and helpful. We LOVED the chili and the jalepeno corn muffins!! I had a wonderful entree of Grouper and my husband ordered meatloaf. His meatloaf was barely warm and was the one downside to the meal. Overall, a good experience and a lovely location in Tampa.

    I recently came to the Cooper hog for an important business meeting. Their booths offer just enough privacy, which was perfect! The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I am excited to come back soon.

    For tonight's dinner I started with the Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower (fresh-fried cauliflower bites topped with Sriracha aioli and served with cool-herbed ranch dressing, house-made pickled cucumbers) and it was fantastic. For my dinner I had the Pan Seared Grouper Picatta with capers, lemon butter, warm house-made orzo pasta, grilled asparagus and it was delicious/flavorful and one of my favorites. My regular server "Adam" was exceptional, as always, and he is consistently friendly, attentive, patient, accommodating, efficient, and he has made so many wonderful recommendations to me that have all awakened my taste buds. Sacred Pepper is an excellent choice for the ambiance, awesome wine/drink selections, amazing and delicious food selections, soothing after dinner drinks, and mouthwatering desserts. And the service staff are all so friendly and welcoming. it's a "WIN" for me every single time I eat there!

    Good for apps and drinks. We were seated by an AC unit which wasn’t great. Service was ok but not great. Food was pretty good.
