Welcome to Elena's -- a place where a family’s love for authentic Mexican food is celebrated and combined with California-inspired elements and signature Mexican-American dishes. We offer reservations for up to 8 guests via OpenTable. At the time of your reservation, we kindly request the entire party be present to be seated. Tables will be held for up to 10 minutes after the reservation time. For parties that arrive later, the table will be released but we will do our best to accommodate the reservation with the next available table. Takeout or Delivery available at a16pizza.com from noon to 9 pm.Please note - standard tables are located in our main dining room and covered atrium room. High top tables are in our intimate, cozy wine bar towards the front of the restaurant. You can reserve the chef's counter as well. Walk-in reservations welcome. A16 is a Michelin rated and James Beard Award Winning restaurant bringing the delicious and hospitable traditions of lively Campania to San Francisco. The chic, rustic/modernist venue is named after the motorway that transverses the South of Italy. Executive Chef Yosuke Machida carefully selects local, organic produce and meats to prepare a daily menu specializing in wood oven-fired Neapolitan pizza, braised meatballs, vibrant salads, pasta and local meats and seafood dishes. Owner Shelley Lindgren works closely with a well-versed, hospitable service team to bring one of the SF Bay Area's celebrated wine and food destinations.

    We've only been to the Zuni a few times, but we were longing for their hamburgers and shoestring potatoes. As usual, they did not disappoint us. We ate them and had a sidecar as well, The sidecar was new to us, and very enjoyable. So was the Gateau Victoire -- a rich chocolate cake with whipped cream. We also had a port with dessert. All wonderful. There are many other things on the menu, which I'm sure are also wonderful. We'll go back to try them out.

    Lovely Valentine’s Day experience. The tasting menu with wine pairing was perfect. It was just the right amount of food/wine and the service was top notch. One of our favorite date spots that never disappoints!

    Beautiful spot. Felt transported to magical Mexico….upscale, attention to details, service- impeccable. I had the chicken and steak enchiladas, the guacamole and the churros….with a special birthday sparkler. When can I go again!?

    We ate at Bella Trattoria on Friday, Feb 8th (2025). Our reservation was for 7PM, but they were extermely busy and we did not get seated until 7:25PM. They apologized and comped us some Prosecco for keeping us waiting. I had the prix fixe menu, starting with the fagioli e scarole soup (a bitter greens stew with beans and crostini), a main course of Osso Bucco, and fnishing with the panna cotta. Everything was excellent. I tried my dining companions' dishes, Amatriciana (yummy!), and Sorrentina (the most delicate gnocci I've ever had). We will go back.
