Besides “rouj” instead of “roux,” a quick scan of the new restaurant’s menu shows the word “gonbo” where you’d expect to find “gumbo.”But owner Stephen Hightower isn’t a bad speller. We had a wonderful time. We were seated rather quickly. The food was outstanding, and the drinks were on point. Cheyanne was very attentive to everyone’s requests. We do plan to return, and hopefully get seated at her table.

The Brie cheese appetizer is amazing— would prefer crostini to saltine crackers to accompany the dish. This is a must if you are dining with 2 or more people.
