Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton. The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round. With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring. Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

The Boathouse is a quirky and very pretty place to enjoy quality tapas and drinks. Right on Waterside in Upton-upon-Severn, it overlooks the River Severn and serves breakfast and coffee in the morning, followed by Mediterranean- and British-style tapas for the rest of the day. The nature of tapas of course requires sharing, making The Boathouse a very popular spot indeed for casual yet elegant dining, regardless of the occasion.     Delightful! The four of us were quietly celebrating a birthday. The attention given to us by the staff was perfect. Attentive and not intrusive. The food was just fabulous. I had the crab fish cakes to start and the beef roast dinner with a cheeky cauliflower cheese. Then finishing with a caramel Eaton mess and coffee. I can honestly say it was the best meal out we have had for ages. Thank you

    A very beautiful & historic tavern that has flagstone floors & a roaring fire. A very good choice of dishes including plenty of vegetarian & vegan.The staff were excellent as was their service. The food was delicious & very well presented . An excellent visit. Thank you

    A wonderful country find in a tiny village. The restaurant is definitely one to savour local farm to table, foraging and local game delicacies and each course was delicious. Staff are friendly, informative and welcoming and on a cold snowy night provided hot water bottles for each table to ensure we were sufficiently warm.

    Birthday lunch. Nice birthday welcome too. We went for the Wednesday burger offer. Cheeseburgers and Stilton burger. Burgers were very tasty. Lovely Christmas vibes. Although the menu here has changed and is more limited to how I remember it.
