BEAR Hockley is perched slap-bang in the middle of Nottingham's creative neighbourhood. Located on the first floor of Derby’s vibrant and buzzing Derbion shopping centre, this BEAR store has bloomed off the back of the incredible success of our gorgeous spot over in the city’s Cathedral Quarter.We wanted to bring some of that familiar High Street character to the centre, and we’ve done that by sectioning the vast area in to smaller, cosier sections and added comfy seating, as well as softening our usual warm colour palate slightly to compliment the light, airy atmosphere of the mall.BEAR Derbion is a snug little haven that you can use to escape all that retail hustle.
Featured in the Michelin Guide since 2014 and awarded two AA Rosettes for Culinary Experience since 2016. True Indian lovers in Nottingham will already be familiar with this acclaimed restaurant on Maid Marian Way. A modern space with bucket-loads of style and a menu that had the restaurant named 'Runner Up Best Restaurant' by The Observer Food Monthly Awards. This ornate, luxe dining room is dressed with maroon coloured feature walls, Indian craftwork and leather sofas. The wine list is mostly Euro with a few antipodean bottles thrown in for good measure, and signature dishes at MemSaab include the tandoori ostrich infused with garlic and red chilli; and the rasmalai dessert - Indian milk patties in a saffron sauce garnished with edible rose petals.
