Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. The restaurant is open Wed-Sat at dinner and Thurs-Sat lunch. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall.     I went to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. Lovely food and surroundings. Our waitress Michaela couldn’t do enough for our table. She was friendly and helpful and even took time out to organise a beautiful little birthday cake. Thank you Michaela you made my birthday extra special. I will definitely be visiting again

    Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%

    Friendly welcome at the door, taking care of our wet coats. Waitress (Izzy) was lovely, explaining the menu and looking after us really well the whole evening. Some disturbance from a nearby table, when 2 customers were taking videos with glaring phone lights, was quickly dealt with by the staff. Special presentation of dessert for my birthday, with a complimentary glass of port. A great evening. Thank you.
