Albert’s Restaurant and Bar is the second Albert’s opening and is a sister restaurant to Albert’s Shed in Castlefield. A slick, modern space with dining for 160 guests inside and a fabulous covered & heated outside dining terrace for 60 – perfect for alfresco dining. The menu is modern British with an eclectic mix of Albert’s favourites and dishes from around the globe, all using only fresh local ingredients. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and every Saturday and Sunday mornings for breakfast.

Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. The restaurant is open Wed-Sat at dinner and Thurs-Sat lunch. From 14th November ’24, Higher Ground is opening on Thursday lunchtimes and is now open from 5pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays!At lunch a £40pp seasonal sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. At dinner, both an à la carte and a seasonal sharing menu at £58pp are available. Both menus are available when sat at the kitchen bar counter.We often hold space for walk-ins at the kitchen bar counter so pop by and have some plates and a glass of wine!Reservations of up to twelve guests are accepted.     We had an exceptionally nice meal out here! The service was second to none, and they also made sure to look after our dog too. Great food, great wine and great vibe. My only disappointment was the portion size of the Chips considering the price, and that one of the steaks we ordered could've been a little hotter in temperature.

    First time as new to the area. Food was excellent, very tasty. Small plates but packed with lots of flavour. There were 6 of us for lunch, we went for a mix between the daytime offer and from the main menu. Value for money was spot on. I have been to lots of Tapas places but I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely visit again at some point!

    Been coming for years.Great all round night, the best tapas by far, good wine and friendly staff. Went to San Sebastián for foodie holiday and bar San Juan is up there with the best.Only downside is getting a reservation due to how popular it is.

    We went for a friend's birthday. We were able to chat without being rushed. One friend is coeliac and the manager came to ensure her order was done safely, double checking everything very professionally. A lovely evening, great food and a good choice of non alcoholic drinks.

    Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%
