Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Roe is a modern and spacious restaurant in the heart of Wood Wharf from the trio behind the critically-acclaimed sister restaurant Fallow St James’s and FOWL.The extensive a la carte menu is divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. As well as championing modest, British ingredients, Roe’s dishes showcase underused and underappreciated produce. Rare breed meats and carefully sourced fish from the British Isles are central to the menu, as well as regenerative crops like Wildfarmed native grain.

Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. Fergus Henderson’s original home of “Nose to Tail Eating” opened in a former smokehouse around the corner from Smithfield Market in 1994.Celebrating the finest of indigenous British produce and making the most of what is seasonally best whilst applying straight forward cooking techniques, St. John is now celebrated as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World and in 2009 was awarded its first Michelin Star.Nose to tail eating means that, where appropriate, every part of the animal should be put to good use in the kitchen and so along with Roast Beef and Lemon Sole, diners will find Rolled Pig’s Spleen, Kidneys and Ox Heart, Liver and Chitterlings as well as the Roast Bone Marrow & Parsley Salad, something of a ‘signature’ dish.

    I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff and manager at the Canary Wharf branch - I had the most fabulous meal with my autistic daughter and the rest of my family. We were offered a choice of tables, seen to quickly, given paper and crayons and looked after so well. The food was outstanding and we had the best time.

    Clos Maggiore is a brilliant, atmospheric venue. The staff are warm, friendly and professional and the food is excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and despite the two-hour dining window allocated, there was no pressure on us to leave. This was our third visit and it was amazing every time.

    My waitress was very lovely. I wish I could put her name here, but I forgot to ask for her name, but we were late to our booking for the restaurant that other people booked the same table as us so instead of them kicking us out  she put us in the lounge so you could have more time and celebrate my birthday the way I wanted it so I rate it a five star love it,really enjoyed my birthday. thank you

    The food is so good. The Hispi cabbage is delicious, as is the blooming onion. I will be back again for dinner next time as I want the cuttlefish toasts again! They are something else. As is the onion!
