Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. Afterhours fun though could have a better vibe for a Friday night; DJ was dull. In addition bottomless drinks was abruptly ended, a courtesy notification would have been appreciated.

Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was great. Wine list is exceptional for a pub. Service was hospitable but lacked a bit of attention (fork never came for one guest, sat with dessert menus for 30+ minutes, etc). In any case, will be back and already looking forward to it.
