A restaurant, wine bar and fermenting kitchen - we're open for lunch Wednesdays to Sundays and dinner all week. Our menu changes monthly and our cooking is simple and seasonal. It's here we make all our seasonal ferments, pickles and drinks - all of which you can buy ready jarred from our fridge. Our large kitchen counter is the centrepiece, and you’re invited to grab a seat, order something to eat and enjoy the workings of life in our kitchen. The Hemingway is a good quality pub that serves delicious no-nonsense grub.You can see every dish being made to order in our open plan kitchen- no soggy microwaved frozen meals here! We take great care in sourcing our produce direct from the best suppliers both locally and abroad. Our menu is a mix of classic crowd pleasers and regularly changing seasonal dishes, which means you'll always find something to tempt your taste buds (even if you're in every day!).We are a pub, not a cocktail bar and while we make a blinding Bloody Mary, and will happily mix you an Aperol Spritz or Negroni, we don't do Pina Coladas. That said, we are extremely proud of our wide range of spirits from around the globe, which (where possible) we offer at affordable prices. Darling’s is a fresh pasta eatery in East London. Overlooking Olympic Park, the eatery is a hidden gem in Fish Island where the industrial and creative spaces converge. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings and thoroughly enjoyed the night. The overall feel was casual but the level of service made the evening special. The wine pairings in particular were all super interesting choices with interesting tidbits about of the wine makers given with each glass. Would highly reccomend for a special dinner.
