The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal menus, featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section. Director Fernando Peire leads a strong and experienced team to deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years.     We had the most amazing dinner at the Smith's! We were a little concerned about the noise when we arrived but to our delight we were seated in the coolest back room area, and separate from the front main bar. Perfect for private parties if you wanted to bring the office or plan a family reunion. We ordered 4 meals and a couple of sides, along with some fish and chips (My wife is from Norwich and having fish and chips is always a great addition to any feast). We're not drinkers by our boys and their wives had wine and beer and very much enjoyed their drinks. The service was also great! In fact when we got seated the room was a bit freezing, and there were only a few others in there, so I asked one of the gents if the area we were in had separate air and he was so nice about it, turned it down and it was just perfect for the amount at guests. I wish I had taken pics of my plates of food, I'm not the guy that remembers that kind of stuff, and to be honest the food disappeared nearly as quickly as it arrived! The table went silent for about 10 minutes while everyone dug in, and boy did we enjoy it! For the next hour we all picked at everyone's plates and enjoyed each other's company. I'd go back in a in no Time for any special occasion or any meal! They have Sunday Roasts, and guaranteed we'll be going back for one of those! Our entire family enjoyed The Smith's for our Dinner Feast and we all recommend it to anyone who hasn't been before!

    Dinner was so great! Stopped in for a cocktail then ended up coming back for dinner with our group that’s here for a wedding! Definitely ask for Alex. Best bar server!

    We had a group of 14, and the staff did a fabulous job! We filled the entire restaurant with the best service, and the food and drinks were fresh, homemade, and delicious! I'd recommend Bocconcino to anyone who enjoys seafood and Italian!

    One of the best meals that I had in a very long time!!!!! I have been to Amazonico a couple of times before, but this time everything was perfect! Food & service were perfect!!!! Not to mention the lovely bartender, Mario. Super accommodating. Thank you!!!

    The service was professional and attentive. Attention to detail….an empty cup or plate was addressed immediately. Service was genuine and friendly….absolutely delightful.
