Please use Opentable to book tables for food only, for drinks our bar area is first come first served and you can book tables in the garden for drinks on 02086505744. We will serve breakfast sandwiches 10am-12pm daily, Lunch Monday -Saturday 12-3pm and Dinner 5.30-9pm, on Sunday food hours are 12.5.30pm and drinks only in the evening. Operating since 2014 and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere unrivalled in the area – with an exceptional seasonal menu and great range of quality beers, ales and handpicked fine wines to accompany it.

    Recently went to the Hare & Billet for a lovely roast, was excited to see they offer a vegan wellington roast as an option online. However was disappointed upon learning that it’s no longer an option and had been taken off the menu when we were getting our orders taken. Luckily we had a fantastic server, Nathaniel who went above and beyond to offer options so that I could still enjoy the roast that I’d be looking forward too with a few tweaks here and there. Ended up having a lovely meal regardless! Thank you, Nathaniel & chefs at the Hare & Billet!

    The Chancery delivers yet again. Sunday lunch with family including my 93 year old father in his wheelchair. The guys working there were all beyond helpful and attentive and wanting to ensure we had a great experience, which we did. We sat outside as it’s quieter for my father (his hearing aid picks up every background noise especially indoors in a crowded room) and again we were more than well looked after. This is one of the many reasons why my brother and I bring our father here at least once a week. It’s simply his favourite place to eat out. Keep doing everything you do.
