We decided to name our second venue ‘Ganymede’ after the largest Moon of Jupiter. We here at The LPC also value legacy and know that 139 Ebury Street, in its previous incarnation, was named The Ebury Wine Bar – an institution. Thus, as to give a nod to its heritage, we believe the name Ganymede is apt, as in Greek Mythology – Ganymede was a Trojan Aristocrat who was kidnapped by Zeus while the King of the Gods was in the form of an eagle and Ganymede was taken to the top of Mount Olympus to become ‘the Wine Pourer/Cupbearer to the Gods for all eternity’.

Sat on Wimbledon Hill Road, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. A unique cultural history has helped to make Lebanese food the most popular of all Middle Eastern cuisines. For most of its past, Lebanon has been ruled by foreign powers that have influenced the types of food the Lebanese ate. From 1516 to 1918, the Ottoman Turks controlled Lebanon and introduced a variety of foods that have become staples in the Lebanese diet, including olive oil, fresh bread, baklava (a sweet pastry dessert), laban (homemade yogurt), stuffed vegetables, and a variety of nuts. The Ottomans also increased the popularity of lamb. After the Ottomans were defeated in World War I (1914–1918), France took control of Lebanon until 1946, when the country won its independence. During this time, the French introduced some of their most widely eaten foods, particularly treats such as flan, a caramel custard dessert dating back to the 1500s, and buttery croissants.

    Arranged a booking to treat my wife to a meal for her birthday. Had a wonderful and entertaining meal at this branch. My wife was so happy and all our requests were met. Will be back with my friends on next trip. Thank you once again to all the staff at Inamo for that special evening.

    Upstairs was busy, downstairs where we were was quieter but still filled up. Staff are amazing and the menu choices were wonderful. The specials sounded delicious too. The atmosphere on a rainy night was comforting and we were well looked after. Our water glasses were regularly filled and we were asked how the food was. It was absolutely delicious - we both had options we hadn’t tried before and were both very happy with our choices. If I was local I would definitely eat there regularly.

    Can I just say I never write reviews but honestly this experience HAS TO BE SPOKEN ABOUT! Firstly I’d like to thank Pio & Muhammad for their OUTSTANDING service, both the guys made us feel so incredibly special, were super attentive and HAPPY! It was so nice to see. Both of them need a raise because they genuinely made this experience ten times better. We went mid week and it was a lot quieter which we loved and were offered a booth by the wonderful lady at the beginning and even at the end she offered us both a lollipop as we declined the mulled wine / hot chocolate because we were so full of tea 😂 The sandwiches were incredible, I was really surprised at the vegan options being so delicious - that mushroom sarni was INSANE. The atmosphere was great. We were very happy that it wasn’t too busy and loud. It was mums birthday and she got a special cake and Pio sang happy birthday with me so I wasn’t alone which was adorable! He was a very gentle soul. We had the best time and thoroughly recommend anyone to go! It is quite expensive but honestly the service made up for that entirely - you pay for what you get. I will be coming back!

    We really enjoyed our visit to EFES. As always we received a warm welcome, without exception the team here are very friendly and attentive. The food was great, and our daughter the Birthday girl received a piece of chocolate cake, accompanied by the whole team singing and clapping to make the occasion extra special. Looking forward to visiting again with our friends in December.
